ABOUT
Connecticut Saddlery was started by Katie Levy in 2016. A graduate of Post University's Equine Program, Katie became interested in saddle fitting while learning about horse and rider biomechanics in school, She was also having problems finding a saddle for both herself and her horse that worked for both of them. Katie believes that all horses and riders should be given the opportunity to have a well fitting saddle regardless of budget. Katie works with both horse and rider to find what works best for them.
Katie has a B.S degree in Equine studies, is Master Saddlers Association as well as EAGALA certified.
Consignment
Consignment options for those looking to sell their current saddle. Saddles are kept either in a locked truck or in Katie's climate controlled workshop.

Saddles are marketed online (including social media), and also brought on the road to current clients if Katie thinks a particular saddle will work for a horse/rider combo.

Saddles can be consigned for a 70/30 split between seller and Connecticut Saddlery.
Consignment periods are 3 months with the option of extending if the saddle does not sell or the owner wants to continue.
OUR SERVICES
Saddle Fittings- $100 (within 1 Hour of Southbury CT )
Fittings take about 1-1.5 hours and include evaluation of both the horse and rider. Up to 2 saddles can be evaluated (with additional saddles being $30 extra per saddle). Fittings include tracings as well.

Saddle Purchase ($30 per hour)
Katie will come with you saddle shopping to help look at what will work for you as the rider as well as offer suggestions for your horse.
